Founded 1919
Hemingways takes its name from the company’s founder John Hemingway who started his business in Leeds issuing Star Credit Checks – an early form of gift vouchers. From the start we’ve prided ourselves on offering great products, exemplary service and innovate solutions.
Today, a hundred years on, we remain an independent company operating in a number of niche markets: primarily retail gift vouchers, gift cards and branded confectionery. In all cases our operations involve working nationally and internationally with big brands and high volume sales.
