Terms & Conditions for Gym Bookings

• Bookings and gym use is for employees of Hemingways Marketing Services LTD only.
• You must have read the Hemingways Group Gym Disclaimer and returned a signed copy to HR prior to making a booking and using the gym.
• Bookings are non-transferrable.
• Bookings made through the bookings form will be confirmed by an email sent to your specified email address.
• It is your responsibility to check you have booked the correct time and date. We are under no obligation to rectify mistakes.
• If you are unable to attend a pre-booked activity you agree to cancel your booking at the earliest opportunity via the link on your confirmation email.
• To use the gym you must be in good health and familiar with the equipment you are using.
• I understand that the Hemingways Gym will be unsupervised at all times.
• I understand the greater risks of exercising unsupervised, especially alone. It is unlikely that there will be anybody to attend to me should I have a severe injury, or who will be able to summon assistance, or to utilise the resuscitation equipment in a timely manner.
• I understand that there is a risk in the use of gym equipment, especially free weights, and the necessity to exercise within my capabilities. I understand it is my responsibility to train correctly and I do so at my own risk.
• I understand that the Hemingways Group will not be responsible in any way for any harm or injuries that may occur during employees use of the Gym and its equipment.
• I agree to use the equipment provided with care and in accordance with the instructions provided and as explained in the supporting documentation.
• I understand that other gym users will not be qualified trainers and any advice or encouragement should be taken with caution, the Hemingways Group cannot be liable for injury as a result of following such advice.
• I have undergone a health check within the past 12 months.
• I have read and understood the Hemingways Group Gym risk assessment, in particular noting and accepting the control measures in respect of lone use.
• I understand that I should not use the equipment if I am unwell or feel dizzy at any time.
• I understand that I am not permitted to offer access to or admit any non Hemingways Group  employed  person  into the Hemingways Group Gym at any time. I understand that failure to comply will result in termination of my ability to use the facility and could also result in the disciplinary process being activated.
• I agree that I will only use the facility for the time period which I have secured on the booking system and this time is unpaid as it falls before or after my contracted start time, or within agreed unpaid breaks from work.
• I understand that there is CCTV surveillance of the gym but that this is not continually monitored.
• By making a booking you are agreeing to these terms and conditions, our privacy policy, the Gym Disclaimer and all relevant Hemingways rules and regulations.
• We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions, and any other related documents without notice at any time.
